Your mental space is extremely vital to your whole body health, so there’s not better time to take some time to evaluate the state of your brain space and get it cleaned up and ready to enjoy the summer season. Here are a few ways you can perform some spring cleaning on your brain and create plenty of space for a new season to bloom in your heart.

The friend that you would love to chat with, but life just always seems to “get in the way.” Making your relationships a priority is a great way to give your brain what it’s craving. Laughing, catching up, sharing, and connecting are great ways to reduce stress levels, and provide a positive outlook on life.Journaling

Try focusing on a gratitude list to give yourself positive things to focus on. In a fast paced life filled with technology, news, and a constant stream of information, unplugging for a bit can be a great way to clear your mind and do some decluttering. While you are unplugged, make a list of negative influences that you would like to start avoiding in the future. This can include news stations, social groups, even negative people.
