What to Expect as a New Client

Absolute Wellness Center in Linn Creek, MO integrates many forms of healthcare to bring harmony and balance to the body and maximize your health potential.  Some of our processes may be new experiences for you, but we are here to support you every step of the way as you work toward true healing and realizing your optimal health. We view the body as a complex, integrated system where physical, mental, and chemical health play a vital role in your overall health and wellbeing.

Because our program and outlook may be new to you, we want to walk you through our process of accepting someone into our practice.  Our office is committed to educating our clients on the benefits of neurologically based chiropractic care and the role it has in their lifestyle.  Our approach is different than any other chiropractic clinic in the area and we take pride in that.  However, we know that not everyone is going to be willing to go through the steps required to become one of our clients.  The following information will help you understand our process of accepting someone into our practice.

1. Paperwork - When you arrive at our office, you will have some brief paperwork to fill out.  This will help us get to know some general information about you and your lifestyle and help us understand the healthcare goals you want assistance with.

2. Consultation - During the consultation, a doctor will review your paperwork with you and discuss any questions or concerns you may have.  The doctor will also inform you of the types of care we offer in our office and make a recommendation to move forward or determine if a referral is needed.

3. Examination - Our 12-minute, totally non-invasive computerized test called the NeuroInfiniti SRE will measure how effectively your nervous system is adapting and responding.  To take the test, sensors are attached to your skin on your shoulder muscles, the top of your head, your forearms, and your hands.  You will also perform a basic motion and movement evaluation.

4. X-Ray Studies - X-rays are taken on almost all clients, with a few exceptions.  X-rays allow the doctor to better assess your structural framework and develop the most effective care plans.  They can also help determine if patterns have developed and can help rule out more serious conditions.

5. First Day Care - A chiropractic adjustment will not be performed until after your second visit and report of findings.  This allows the doctor to review your examination and x-ray findings to determine the proper course of care for your unique needs.  On the first day of care, the doctor will set you up on passive therapy that is best for your individual situation to help promote healing, decrease inflammation, and reduce muscle pain.

6. Home Instructions - Prior to leaving, clients will be given a reading assignment to help them better understand the information that the doctor will review with them, along with instructions on certain activities or procedures to be done at home to promote healing, decrease inflammation, and reduce muscle spasm.

7. Second Day Care - Your second visit will consist of a report of findings.  These findings will explain what was found on your initial visit from your examination and x-ray results.  The doctors will let you know if they think our office can assist you with your healthcare goals.  If we think we can help you, we will discuss with you your individual care plan, the cost of care, and payment options.  Once both doctor and client agree on the course of care, we will get started on the first adjustment and treatment, and schedule the first followup reexamination, and healthcare class.

At Absolute Wellness Center, we care about helping you reach your maximum health potential.  We understand that trying to reach your health goals can be overwhelming, so we are here to help you in any way we can.  We strive for excellence through superior education, satisfaction, and client health care in Linn Creek, MO.  Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
